An umbrella company is a service provider that acts as an employer for contractors who work on a temporary basis. When you join an umbrella company, you become an employee of the company, and they handle all aspects of your payroll, including tax, National Insurance, and other statutory deductions.

As an umbrella company employee, you submit timesheets for the work you do, and the company invoices your clients on your behalf. The umbrella company then pays you a salary, after deducting their fees and any relevant taxes. This arrangement allows you to focus on your work without worrying about the administrative and financial aspects of running a business.

With us, there are no joining fees or any tie-in periods that you need to commit to. Additionally, there are no exit penalties when you decide to leave. We only ever apply fees when you are earning income and these fees are transparently deducted from each payment.
